The Junior League is a Highly Respected Organization with an Extraordinary Legacy…
The Junior League of Louisville is very proud of that historic reputation, but as society changes, we adapt and evolve. We strive to put our venerable values to work in modern ways; demonstrating our pride and perpetuating our legacy by serving as a powerful voice for action, justice, and change throughout Louisville. Together, we are working to empower our members to support at-risk youth and assist with their transition to independent living, support disengaged young adults in obtaining access to education and employment resources in addition to gaining entry to employment opportunities, and assist homeless youth with their transition to independent living. We are continuing to work to develop a number of coalitions within our community with the goal of accomplishing the following: Advocating for the State bill to lower the age of foster care transition support to fifteen, secure transportation options for homeless young adults in the City of Louisville and educate landlords on the need for safe and affordable apartments that can be set aside for target group at a fair market rate. Louisville women will lead this important initiative. Will you be one of them?

Become a Driving Force of Change Within Your Community
We accept new members in the Fall and Spring every year and our application period for the Fall class is now open. When new members apply, they are invited to join a New Member class for either the Fall or Spring that provides them with the tools and information they’ll need to play a crucial role in the Junior League of Louisville’s current community goal to provide support to at-risk youth and assist with their transition to independent living, support disengaged young adults in obtaining access to education and employment resources in addition to gaining entry to employment opportunities, and assist homeless youth with their transition to independent living.
Junior League of Louisville Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be 22 by June 1 to be eligible for membership.
- Applicants must reside in Louisville, Kentucky, or the surrounding communities.
